Robert L. Rebitz

Bob has been involved in management consulting, securities analysis, equity valuation, and portfolio analysis for the pasty 15years. Since 2005, Mr. Rebitz has been with BlueLine Partners, an activist investment firm based in the San Francisco area that invests in microcaps in the healthcare and IT sectors. He is also an advisor to a start-up medical device company, and advises two other hedge funds on stock selection and asset allocation. Previously, he ran his own hedge fund, and provided consulting advice to several others, both domestically and overseas. His primary background is in management consulting, including stints with HOLT Value Associates (1988-1991) in SF and Chicago, the Boston Consulting Group in SF, Chicago, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur (1991-1998) a joint venture between HOLT and Deloitte Consulting in London (1998-2000) and Deloitte Consulting in Kuala Lumpur (2000-2002). His primary focus in management consulting was in the area of corporate strategy and business valuation, assisting clients on projects related to capital allocation, incentive compensation, value-based management, mergers and acquisitions, value driver analysis, etc. Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Rebitz spent a few years as a sell-side analyst for Shearson Lehman Brothers following a variety of industries including leisure time, specialty retail, restaurant, and special situations. Mr. Rebitz holds an MBA from UC-Berkeley, and a BA from Northwestern University.
