Stephen M. Race

Steve recently joined Regent Pacific as the CEO of the firm. He is a consumer products veteran and has operated a variety of consumer products and services companies over his 30+ year career. He has led numerous public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. His operating roles have included running Reebok’s North America athletic shoe division, starting the Sony Playstation division in the US, and the turnaround of Microprose, a publically traded mid market video game company. Steve also started several companies, one of which went public. He has raised debt and equity for public and private companies both in the US and Europe.

For the last 10 years Mr. Race has led a variety of restructures and turnarounds, largely for the private equity industry. Those assignments have included companies engaged in consumer software, outdoor advertising, telecommunications, enterprise software, social networking and a host of other B to C and B to B companies. Mr. Race has served as a Director of 13 different companies, both public and private, and currently serves as a director of 3 private companies. Steve holds a BS degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Energy and Power Management also from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Wharton.
