James A. Garvey, PhD

Jim is a senior engineering and management executive with more than 32 years of high technology and medical technology experience. He has made scientific contributions to a wide range of disciplines including plasma physics, electro-optics, infra-red physics, and digital mammography. His management experience includes the analysis and evaluation of growth corporations as well as the redirection of operationally troubled companies. He has a broad range of business, management and technical experience and has been particularly successful in orchestrating highly motivated groups in start-up technology endeavors to accomplish high visibility projects within time and budget constraints. Prior to joining Regent Pacific, he was responsible for the calibration of the first United States weather satellite in conjunction with the National Bureau of Standards, and has been associated with Optronic Laboratories, PSI Systems Corporation, MedScan Corporation and Scanis, Inc., as a founder, CEO and CTO.
Jim has held Final Secret and Top Secret DOD clearances, holds a Ph.D. in physics, and has contributed to several prominent scientific publications.
