John H. Elms

John is a senior executive with over twenty years of executive and senior management in global leadership of high-tech start-ups, entrepreneurial ventures and established public companies. He combines strong operational abilities with exceptional communication skills to accomplish rapid transformations of the companies he leads. Prior to joining Regent Pacific, John held CEO positions at Azalea Networks and before that SpectraLink Corporation where he doubled the revenues of a fourteen year-old public company from $71 million to $145 million in the three years preceding its successful sale.

John's high-tech career includes senior roles at Digital Equipment, PictureTel Corporation, SpectraLink and Azalea Networks encompassing minicomputers, videoconferencing, wireless telephony and wireless networking. In the course of his career John has successfully raised venture capital funding, obtained senior secured syndicated bank debt, acquired a foreign enterprise and sold a public company; all while successfully maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. His entrepreneurial interests focused on China-based manufacturing where he successfully established and operated a wholly-owned foreign enterprise in Tianjin, China.

John has served as a management director on the boards of Azalea Networks and SpectraLink Corporation and as an independent director on the boards of several private enterprises in Colorado. He holds a bachelor of liberal arts with honors from Harvard University and is conversant in Mandarin Chinese.
