VALENCIA, Calif., Jan. 11, 2001 - 3D Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: TDSC) today announced Brian K. Service has been elected to its Board of Directors. Service, who has served as 3D Systems' chief executive officer since September 1999, becomes the company's seventh board member.

A managing director of Regent Pacific Management Corporation, he joined 3D Systems as the head of a five-person Regent Pacific management team charged with stabilizing, rebuilding and expanding the company. Service became a principal of Regent Pacific in 1999 after a 25-year career as a corporate CEO.
